Endless hours of studying, late nights, and bad Chinese takeout comes with a new school year. To survive this, we Sconnies spend countless more hours at football pregames, basking in the sun at the terrace, and munching on spicy cheesy bread at the Farmers’ Market. Thanks to Her Campus and their sponsors, they made the studying portion a little more bearable. I present to you, The Perks of Being an HC Editor: free goodies and way too much fun.

After attending the Her Campus National Conference in NYC this summer, my team and I couldn’t be more enthused about what it means to be a member of the Her Campus community. We met with the founders of Her Campus who were so passionate about Her Campus and the potential that each chapter has to offer. To thank us for our hard work, when Campus Correspondents returned from the conference they received a “Her Campus Back-To-School Survival Kit” with freebies from HC partners. Check out these study essentials that might make your next library sesh a whole lot more manageable…and not to mention prettier in pink.

  1. Neuro Sonic: Mental Performance

This drink with a purpose helps increase alertness, sustain energy, and supports mental performance. You can find this drink at Gordon Commons and College Library for those late night study sessions. It tastes great and has about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. For those of you with a crazy schedule like me, let Neuro Sonic help you get through the day!

  1. Luna Minis

The only thing that gets me through a 6-hour shift at work is a Luna Bar that’s filling and satisfying, but leaves room for dinner later. It’s a great source of protein and folic acid, which are very important for any collegiette on the go. Our kits came with s’mores flavored minis, a tasty little supplement to get you through the day.

  1. Poppin Décor

It’s easy to grab the nearest pencil or notebook to get your work done, but why not have your supplies look pretty in pink? Poppin has fun and cute school supplies with bright colors that truly help you “work happy.” I may have gotten my Poppin pink pens and notebooks for free, but you get a steal too if you use the code: DORMSTYLE on your next purchase!

4. Chipotle Coupons

Easily my favorite freebie (and already used) is the Chipotle Buy-One-Get-One Free coupon. It only took a matter of seconds after opening my survival kit to grab my bestie and head to Chipotle for late night burritos after a hard days work. I’m all about the “Treat Yo Self” mentality and truly believe that if you offer yourself a prize, like Chipotle, after finishing a big project, you’re likely to finish it quickly and successfully.
