The time has come to pack away your sandals and indulge yourself in one of your most dangerous addictions: boots. From riding boots to rain boots to combat boots to booties, you either want them all, have them all or just need some more. So where do you turn this fall for affordable finds or maybe just an outlet to spoil yourself? To help enable your addiction, I’ve compiled a list of expensive boots and their cheap counterparts, to get you where you’re going this fall.
CHEAT
Tory Burch Rosalie Riding Boots $495.00. Oh so darling, oh so preppy and oh so expensive for a college girls budget.
STEAL
Karen Scott Boots sold at Macy’s for 80.00. Still a tad bit pricey, but a doable self-gifted present or something sweet to put on your holiday wish list.
CHEAT
Hunters Original Tall Rain Boots in Dark Ruby, $140.00. “Kate Moss and Kate Middleton own a pair so naturally I have to have them” –what I told my father last Hanukah in a much sweeter and less frantic tone. But for the less frivolous of us who don’t want to splurge on boots that look cool at music festivals and beach strolls with William, there’s another option!
STEAL
BP Typhoon Rain-boot at Nordstrom’s, 39.99. The colors are still obnoxiously shiny, the boot is still durable, but the price is much easier than the former.
CHEAT
Steve Madden Combat Boot $100.00. Super cool and edgy, but a little too cool for a typical wallet. How can you still be a hipster without dishing out the dough?
STEAL
Go to ModCloth! Path and Present Boot, $44.00. I’ve always been an avid shopper of online boutiques like ModCloth.com and seem to always find what I’m looking for. Prices do get a little high, so make sure you keep in the sale section or my trick, sort from cheapest to most expensive.
CHEAT
J. Crew Field Boots $328.00. As a huge fan of the J. Crew sale section and outlets, my heart stops a little for these perfect riding boots that I cannot afford.
STEAL
Forever 21, $39.99. Be still my beating heart! What is better than buying something at J. Crew? Buying something that looks like it was bought at J. Crew but it is really much cheaper.
CHEAT
DV by Dolce Vita, $89.00. Suave and chic, I dream of owning an ankle bootie I wont look awkward in, but these are too much to buy on a whim.
STEAL
Mossimo Ankle Boot $34.00. Target is at it again, making my life financially easier yet harder at the same time!

Before I begin to annoy you with all of the cheap possibilities available this season, I wanted to display how easy it is to buy your pinterest wish list for Fall, without breaking the bank. Boots are everywhere, and it’s easy to snag a great deal with a little research and a slight addictive tendency.Â
