So Halloween is coming up faster than I think most of us expected it to! Right about now I’m sure most of you guys are frantically trying to pick out your Halloween costumes for whatever party or event that you are going to. Thankfully, I have some good guidelines to go by that will hopefully help some of you to figure out you want to be this Halloween.

Couple Costumes

Couples costumes are always a fun thing to do with your boyfriend or girlfriend. Think of the obvious ones like Romeo and Juliet, Adam and Eve, plug and socket, and beauty and the beast. Or you could think of something that you both like you both are interested in by choosing something like this Star Trek couple outfit, or maybe even Tarzan and Jane. The more you and your significant other are into your costume idea the more everyone else will be too.

Group Costumes

If you don’t have a significant other to do a couple’s costume with don’t worry! Group costumes are just as, if not even better than, a couples costume. This is the one time when you and your friends can go all out be crazy and have a fantastic time together. Good group costumes could be anything from remaking the girls from bridesmaids to the cute little mischievous minions from Despicable Me. Other cute costumes include everyone in the group dressing up as their favorite sodas, candies, or characters from a television show or movie like this group who did the seven dwarfs.

Sexy

Another idea for this year’s Halloween costume is to go for a sexier look. This one is so easy because anything you can think of for a normal Halloween costume you can make into a sexier costume. You could go for a sexy vampire, ghost, bumble bee, witch, butterfly, princess, fairy, or even a nurse. Just remember, this is the one time of the year that it is somewhat acceptable for girls of our age to go out and be sexy. So take advantage of this fun holiday and be a little adventurous!

A Pop-Culture Reference

Everyone has a favorite television show, video game, movie, or celebrity. Now is this the time to take all of those things and use them to make a fantastic Halloween costume. Some ideas can be dressing up as the infamous Miley Cyrus, an angry bird, Katniss Everdeen  from the Hunger Games, Kim Kardashion, or Mario. This might even be a fun idea to do with your friends as well because a lot of the time pop culture costumes have a lot of spin off costumes that your friends can wear too!
