It has been a dreary week in St Andrews, the downpours and blistering winds signal that summer has well and truly come to an end. No longer can we brave bare legs on a night out, giving everyone a glimpse of our sun-kissed skin, or sit outside Janettas, ice cream and sunnies in hand. Jessie and Helena look snug in their navy Beadnell jackets, a St Andrews girl’s version of a raincoat. Next time the sky darkens all of a sudden and rain threatens to flood our streets, don your Barbour (I know you already own one!) before heading out into the torrent.
