What are some popular trends NYC right now?
Tees/sweatshirts with sayings on them ex: “Celine Dion,” top knot (hair trend), casual printed blazers, mixing fabrics ex: sweater with leather sleeves, envelope skirts, boyfriend jeans with heels, plaid prints, sweatshirts with collared shirts underneath.
What are your favorite trends?
Top knot buns, cut out shoes and boots, leather pants, envelope skirts, boyfriend jeans with heels.
How do college students dress differently in NYC compared to other colleges in rural areas?
College students in the city tend to “dress up” more often and tend to care more about their appearance and become more individual with their fashion style. College students in rural areas also tend to follow generic trends.
 What can style advice can you offer college-age students?
You don’t have to buy expensive things to look good, find your own sense of style and you will be your own individual.
Tell us about your experience with internships, fashion week etc in NYC:
 Fashion week is crazy! I am currently an intern for Michael Fisher (celebrity male stylist). I’ve assisted with fashion shows, organizing clothes and outfits and helped assist with model fittings…male models that is ;)
