5 Websites You Should Be On Right Now!

1. Celeb News:   www.justjared.com  
   

    –  Just Jared, created by Jared Eng in 2005, is a social media site that gives you up to date info and sightings on your favorite celebs! I also go on Perez Hilton, but unlike Perez, Jared’s sites don’t interject his negative personal opinion. Justjared and Justjaredjr are both extremely positive!

2. Beauty:   www.thebeautydepartment.com

    – I’ve had an obsession with LC ever since her Laguna Beach days. Two years ago, when the site launched, I heard about it and naturally had to check it out. With the help of her hairstylist, Kristin Ess, and her makeup artist, Amy Nadine, Lauren launched the beauty guide.  The three ladies give tips, tricks and tutorials on the most amazing hairstyles, nail designs, beauty routines, and skin regimens. My absolute favorite!

3.  Shopping:  www.lulus.com

    – I first learned of LuLu’s while reading an issue of Seventeen Magazine; the mag uses clothing from the online boutique frequently. LuLu’s carries other brands as well as their own clothing. I love this site because it’s trendy has a reasonable price range. LuLu’s also has great shoes and accessories!

4. Food  www.yelp.com  
            

    – You have most likely heard of Yelp before but I felt the need to remind you how awesome it is. I swear by Yelp! If a restaurant doesn’t have a Yelp page, I don’t trust it. One of my favorite things to do is discover restaurants on Yelp and try them out with my friends. Yelp not only gives you reviews but pictures of some of the food you can find at the restaurant. Because of Yelp I have a list of NYC restaurants I plan on going to during winter break. Can’t Wait!

5. Entertainment:  www.funnyordie.com  

    –  If you ever need a pick me up or a quick laugh, funnyordie is the perfect place to go. Created by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay in 2007, funnyordie allows anyone with an account to upload a funny video. The best part of funnyordie is it’s ‘Exclusives’ celebrity content. The funnyordie writers and actors team up with a wide range of celebs, from Drake to Mila Kunis, to create funny videos. It’s fun to see another side to your favorite celebrities (ex. Rachel Bilson’s hilarious rap song “Call me Doctor”
