The movie we’ve all been waiting so patiently for is finally here!
This Thursday at midnight, fans across the country will be watching The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second installment in The Hunger Games movie series. The first movie was a massive hit with both book fans and newcomers, and we all have high hopes for this next film.
Enjoy 10 reasons why we can’t wait for Catching Fire!
1. We get to see Jennifer Lawrence play Katniss again! While in real life she is a quirky and funny person, she becomes so fierce as Katniss; movie magic at its finest!
2. Josh Hutcherson is back as Peeta! Think of all the bread he will probably bake Katniss in this movie. Love. It.
3. Never fear, Gale fans, Liam Hemsworth is returning to play Gale too. He should have much more screen-time and action in the movie!

4. Fans get a whole movie of the Katniss and Peeta or Katniss and Gale debate. Bring on the love triangle!
5. If you haven’t found out already (*SPOILER ALERT*), Katniss and Peeta are headed back into the Hunger Games. This means that our heroes are in for another dramatic and death-ridden game. Bring on the feels.
6. On the Victory Tour, viewers will get to see many of the other districts for the first time. Get ready for some rebellion!
7. This movie should contain lots of sassy Haymitch. Who doesn’t love a rambunctious Woody Harrelson?

8. The costumes in this movie are going to be as gorgeous as the first film. Check out the glimpses we’ve received so far!
9. While many see this series as a love story, it is prominently a tale of a future dystopian society and how Katniss and her friends try to put it back on the right track. The rebellion that started in The Hunger Games blows up in this movie, and should make for a fascinating statement about fighting for justice!
10. Most importantly, avid book fans will get to see a book they love come alive on-screen. If you haven’t read this book, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?
