We all know how chilly it can get here in the late fall in upstate New York. As fall blends into winter, the blustery air is going right through us on the way to that 8 AM class. Have no fear-no need to freeze! Keeping your head/neck area warm will make a huge difference, and there are tons of cute ways to do it. Here are some durable and stylish types of scarves that will keep you warm even in subzero Binghamton weather!
INFINITY SCARVES:
I have one in light gray and am in love with it. These are also sometimes called eternity scarves…they’re sold as really long scarves that you wrap around your neck two or three times. They are super cute to wear with your puffy jacket, or they can be worn indoors to really put your outfit together. Nothing spices up an otherwise boring sweater like an adorable scarf!
FAUX FUR:
Faux fur has recently made a huge comeback. These scarves are being sold everywhere in regular and infinity styles. And they’re inexpensive! Pair a beige/brown one with a chunky sweater, leggings and boots for a comfy, warm and cute ensemble.
PRINTED/KNIT SCARVES:
I’ve seen a lot of boho-like paisley scarves lately! Prints are always good when paired with a basic shirt or sweater. Also, a good old-fashioned knit scarf is always a go-to basic, and will keep you especially cozy. If you know how to knit, that’s even better! Simple but bold colors will compliment your outfit well. Stay warm girls!
