As Thanksgiving draws near, I wanted to take this time as Campus Correspondent of HC F&M to reflect on all the things I have this year to be thankful for. One, I’m thankful to have this role and work with wonderful people in Her Campus. Her Campus has become a major part of my life, and it has changed me in ways you cannot even imagine. Two, I’m thankful that I get to go to as wonderful of a school as F&M with the great people who are my peers and the professors who teach me and change me. Three, I’m thankful for the wonderful family and friends I have. I don’t know what I would do without you guys, and because I know you all, I have been changed for the better. Because I know you, I’ve been changed for good. (Okay, maybe a slight Wicked reference in there, sorry folks!). You guys are there for good, bad, happy, sad, pretty moments, ugly moments, and the really ugly moments (let’s not even go there, okay?). Fourthly, I’m thankful to have a wonderful boyfriend of over three years who makes me smile and happier each day. It’s nice just to know that you have someone who makes you happy in a different way than everyone else. Last, but certain not least, I’m thankful to be an American, to be safe each day, to live in a country with a lot of freedom, and to have the money and ability to do and accomplish a lot of things in life.

Have a great Thanksgiving readers! Weigh in below, what are you guys grateful for this Thanksgiving?

Along with being the Her Campus Franklin and Marshall Campus Correspondent, I am also the editor-in-chief of Epilogue, F&M's literary Magazine, Staff Writer for The College Reporter, F&M's student newspaper, and a very active member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. When not hard at work, you can find me writing, reading, geeking out over Disney movies with my friends, or doing art projects.
