Bedlam is one of the biggest events that happens in the state of Oklahoma each year - the OSU vs. OU football game. Rivalry between friends and family and the red and orange. In the past OU seemed to beat OSU consecutively until just a few years ago when the competition became fierce.

This year the Bedlam game is going to be held December 8th at 11 am in Stillwater at Boone Pickens Stadium. With OSU currently being first in the Big 12, everybody seems to be on their toes about what is going to happen this eighth of December.

Some people are very positive that OSU is going to dominate OU. This season OSU has only lost one game and stands in first in the big 12, what are the chances that they will lose to number 4. Students like Kathrin Sparger are very proud of their football team and don’t have a doubt in their minds that OSU will beat OU.

“It’s 7:45,” Sparger says chuckeling, “and OU still sucks.”

You can see that the competition is not only between the football players but also the fans. Although not everybody is as completely confident as Sparger, many fans such as students Hannah Hunter and Brieanna Webb have high hopes for the team but know that it will take effort and work in order to achieve a win against the sooner rivals.

“I think OSU will win,” Hunter says, “but our defense will have to play as well as they did last weekend.”

“If I am being honest, I think OSU can win, but then again OU has a great chance as well,” Webb said, “with OSU being first in the big 12 I just hope they don’t go into Bedlam with a big head and ruin it for us.”

Hoping for a great outcome next Saturday, majority of people are shy of saying that OSU will in fact win because they are afraid of jinxing it. Bedlam is a huge rivalry game and anything can happen. Orange and Red will battle it out and nobody will ever know what to expect as year by year passes by.
