At the age of only 20 years old, Brittney Winbush has started her very own social media management company called Inner Scoop. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Inner Scoop started in 2011. Their main goal is to build small businesses’ brands through social media. Brittney is most excited about their newest client Beauty Bakerie. Inner Scoop has it’s own website and can be found on Facebook and Twitter so be sure to check it out!
Along with Inner Scoop, Brittney started a web talk show with three of her closest friends called Bubblegum Atlanta. The goal of the show is to “give you all of the news you can chew before it pops!” The first episode gave helpful tips on dating in college and even featured a great date location called Game X in downtown Atlanta. Brittney is also working on a blog called Which Brittney? that highlights fashion and entertainment.
Although Brittney is heavily involved with all of her current projects, she still manages to stay involved on campus. A few organizations she is involved in at UGA include Little Red Book, National Association of Black Journalists, and PESA Cares. Brittney is the social media director for Little Red Book and she also writes for the magazine. She is also apart of the Public Relations team for NABJ.
Brittney says that her parents are her main motivation for all that she has accomplished. She constantly stays inspired by reading an article on Forbes everyday, watching new documentaries, and even going on small vacations from time to time. Brittney plans to move to New York or California prior to graduation in hopes to become a creative director for a major fashion magazine. This campus celeb has accomplished a lot at young age and is an inspiration for collegiettes everywhere.
