It’s time for Super Bowl XLVIII! Whether you’re a diehard fan or you couldn’t care less, this Sunday is arguably the biggest game of them all. Of course, most people watch the Super Bowl for the football, but it isn’t uncommon for people to say they just watch for the funny commercials or the halftime show.

Contrary to popular belief, girls don’t go to Super Bowl parties just to accompany their boyfriends or watch the commercials. Most men will say girls don’t know much about football, which is mostly untrue. Sure, some of us don’t know what’s going on, but many girls love watching the game. We know what’s going on when a yellow flag is thrown on the field or the referee announces there was a neutral zone infraction.

And if you don’t? Don’t feel bad — just pick a team and cheer! Enjoy the game, and maybe ask a friend sitting next to you, and he’s sure to be happy to help.
