Why We Love Pinterest

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

Pinterest is probably one of the greatest creations ever. This website and phone app allows its users access to countless ideas on DIY crafts, fashion, beauty, fitness and more. Pinterest features quotes, home decorations, celebrities and basically anything else you could ever want.

I personally love Pinterest for DIY ideas. There are endless options for dorm décor as well as fashion tricks and tips. I’m a huge fan of do-it-yourself and love finding new ways to decorate my room or make fun crafts. These two pin are great examples of DIY crafts.

When it comes to fashion, there are many pins of Polyvore boards as well as other fashionable clothing and accessories. Most fashion boards even include advice for putting together an outfit. Check out these two fashionable outfit ideas.

Pinterest is also perfect for recipes. Whether you’re savoring something sweet or searching for a healthy snack, Pinterest can help you out. Check out 44 foods under $1 for affordable healthy food. Plus, I just pinned this Panera recipe to my Food board for future reference!

I have found some of my favorite quotes and Bible verses on Pinterest too. If you’re having a bad day and need a laugh, there are plenty of funny pictures and memes like the ones below.

While some pins will make you laugh, others will make you think.

In addition to inspirational quotes, pinterest can inspire you to start working out regularly. There are many fitness boards that offer different exercise routines. I especially like the ones you can do in your dorm room because sometimes actually going to the gym can be a challenge in itself. Check out these abs exercises that can really work.

Although there are many other reasons to love Pinterest, my ultimate favorite is simply because of Her Campus! Follow us here and see what pins we love!
