What’s In My Bag – Lisa Cabral

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Suffolk chapter.

I love purses. I love buying new purses, window-shopping for purses, collecting purses, and going through my friend’s purses, with their permission, of course! They say you can tell a lot by what’s in a girl’s bag. If you looked inside of my bag you would say that I am the type of girl who always likes to be prepared no matter what the situation is. Even though I may have everything to be prepared, I don’t consider my bag to be a mess. I’d rather call it an organized mess. You’ll see why.

Recently I have been using my black Long Champ Le Pliage bag that I got from Nordstrom. This bag is great for every day use because it is made from a durable, waterproof nylon material. It is big enough to carry my every day essentials as well as everything I need for school.

In my bag the first thing is my wallet. It is a gorgeous pink with gold accent coach wallet  my fiancé got my for my birthday last month Things you will always find in my wallet are my license, debit card, school ID, a few of my business cards and Charlie Card. I also dedicate a little pocket in my wallet for memorable things like ticket stubs, receipts, pictures, foreign money… things that don’t really NEED to be in a wallet, but why not keep them there.

Next is my Lily Pulitzer agenda. I am obsessed with her products. The patterns are super girly and fun. I also do not go anywhere without my agenda as I am always writing things into it whether it be an assignment that is due, a shopping list or an article that I have to write. With that being said I always carry multiple pens, pencils and highlighters. I also like to carry post it notes with me for quick reminders.

I always carry my Ray Ban sunglasses, my phone and my ear buds on me. I never leave the house without the three of those things.

The clear Sephora bag with a ton of stuff in it is my “walking pharmacy”. I stuff as much as possible into it so that I can always be prepared for whatever life throws at me. In that bag I have:

  • My inhaler
  • EOS Hand Lotion
  • Allegra & Advil
  • NYX Lip Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie
  • C.O Bigelow Rose Salve
  • C.O Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm
  • Chapstick Brand Hydration Lock chapstick (can you tell I am obsessed with lip products?)
  • Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter in Pink Lemonade
  • Katy Perry’s Killer Queen Perfume
  • Floss
  • Feminine products
  • Travel deodorant
  • Hair ties/mini brush/bobby pins
  • Eye liner, mascara and concealer
  • Bandaids
  • And finally, hand sanitizer
  • (yes, it ALL fits in there!)

And that’s everything!
