What better way to celebrate the start of college baseball season than checking out our latest Campus Cutie! Deacon fans, meet first baseman and catcher Charlie Morgan.

Name: Charlie MorganYear: SeniorHometown: Springfield, Va.Major: CommunicationRelationship Status: In a relationship

HC (Her Campus): What’s it like to play baseball for Wake?CM (Charlie Morgan): It’s a lot of fun. I grew up playing baseball my whole life so it’s been great to play baseball in college and continue to do what I love.

HC: What positions do you play?CM: I play catcher and first base.

HC: What are you looking forward to with the beginning of your senior season?CM: Really just to go out there, have fun and win.

HC: How much of your time would you say you spend playing baseball?CM: We spend about 35 to 40 hours a week practicing as a team, and then we also have stuff to do on our own, so it adds up.

HC: Sounds like you’re pretty busy! Any game time rituals?CM: I haven’t really thought about that since it’s second nature to me. Sometimes I look out at the right field foul pole to clear my head.

HC: So when you’re not practicing, what do you like to do in your free time?CM: I like to hang out with friends, listen to music and workout.

HC: Describe your perfect girl. (Baseball fan, duh!)CM: She has to be in shape and she has to have some tattoos. Not a ton, I just like how they look. She has to be nice, outgoing and someone who likes to have fun.

HC: What’s your idea of a perfect date?CM: If we were home, I’d probably just take her somewhere out in D.C. and buy her a nice dinner. We wouldn’t do anything too crazy. Maybe we could go out to the bars after and have a good time.

HC: How do you get ready for a date?CM: I shower, sometimes shave and then get dressed.

HC: Well those are all must-dos! Do you listen to any music while getting ready?CM: I normally listen to music all the time, mostly country.

HC: Do you have any pet peeves?CM: I hate when people chew too loudly and I don’t like snoring.

HC: Who is your celebrity crush?CM: Probably Jana Kramer because I think she’s beautiful.

HC: How do you think women should flirt with you?CM: I like them to be forward and not play any games.

HC: What are three things you can’t live without?CM: My dogs, my family and my music.

HC: What kinds of dogs do you have?CM: I have a little Jack Russell terrier named Willy and a boxer-pitbull mix named Milo.

HC: How cute. Is there anything about you that might surprise us?CM: Yeah, I like to cook. I cook everything. I try to eat healthy, so I like grilling a lot of meat and vegetables.

HC: Is there a motto that you live or play by?CM: My life motto is that I roll with whatever is thrown my way.
