The Perfect Planner
One of the simplest yet most effective ways to stay on top of homework assignments, to-do lists and all the other things that keep us collegietes so busy is by having a planner that you love. Organization starts at the daily level, and nothing is more important than having the perfect planner. Although there are countless iPhone apps that can help keep your day in order, nothing can replace a classic paper daybook and you want to have one that is uniquely yours. Erin Condren Designs features incredible and customizable life planners that are chic and affordable. As the website tagline says, “It’s always a good time to get personalized, stylized and organized!”

Closet Clean-Out
Change in weather means change in wardrobe, and there is nothing worse than a cluttered closet. So wash and dry your winter clothes before packing them into shallow plastic boxes and sliding them under your bed to hibernate. For those clothes that got a little wear and tear over the winter months or won’t be in style next year, donate them to your local thrift store or try selling them at Plato’s Closet or Mad Stylz to make some extra cash!
Makeover your Make-Up
From multiple types of makeup brushes to dozens of intricate eye shadow palettes, many college women have more makeup than they can keep track of! With countless mascara tubes and nail polish bottles, it can be especially difficult to keep it all neat and organized on your bathroom counter or dresser. First, toss out old makeup or items you don’t use anymore. Next, get a carrying case or try saving money by storing and displaying your makeup in containers you already have lying around, like glass mason jars (Photo 1) or empty vases (Photo 2). Not only does this keep your makeup accessories more organized, it’s a cute and unique presentation!

Spice Up Your Room
Remember the time when photos weren’t just for Facebook walls? It’s extremely cheap to make prints of your favorite pictures at Wal-Mart or Target, and some online services even let your first order of photos print for free. Once you have your new prints, decorate your room by hanging them on a cute ribbon (Photo 3). Tie a large ribbon in a bow with one long piece left hanging down on the wall. Then, tack or tape the photos along the ribbon- tada! Not only does this personalize your room, but the photos will also serve as a constant reminder of fun times you’ve shared with friends and family.Â
