Francesca’s is a nationwide brand, but its Evanston location is an earshot from the sorority quad, perfect for a quick shopping stop. While the store is notable for its broad collection of accessories, it also boasts cute and classy clothing like this lace dress.

Urban is another store you’re probably familiar with and we’re lucky enough to have one just a short walk away. It has an eclectic mix of style, but also a huge selection. Whether in the sale racks or on the front display, you’re sure to find something suitable for the night out.
American Apparel:
950 Church St.
American Apparel is conveniently across the street from Urban Outfitters. It can be a little pricier, but it’s worth it to find an outfit you can wear to other events, like date nights or crush parties. Bonus: it’s all sweatshop-free, American-made clothing.
Crossroads:
1730 Sherman Ave.
Crossroads, being a recycled clothing store, is always a gamble. If you have enough time to thoroughly scour the aisles, you’re bound to find an affordable party dress. If you’re lucky, you’ll find some inexpensive shoes to go with.
Chalk:
2611 Prairie Ave.
Chalk is a charming and stylish boutique in Evanston, having been featured in several magazines like Elle and Lucky. You may be last-minute, but you’re dress will be top-notch.
Hot Mama:
1608 Sherman Ave.
Hot Mama is another shop within walking distance that houses a variety of options. Like American Apparel, some items can be more expensive, but their wide selection ensures you’ll find an outfit in no time.
Envy:
522 Davis St.
A fairly new boutique in the area, Envy sells fun and trendy apparel at a reasonable price. They also carry only six of each item, so you’re less likely to be twinning with someone else tomorrow night.
