During our Middle School years, in between the end of Picnik and the beginning of “the duck face”, we’ve all been guilty of taking some pretty…interesting pictures. With the invention of Myspace and Facebook came the new and exciting ability to put all of our artsy and awkward pictures online for everyone to see, but looking back on them years later, maybe tagging ourselves in those embarrassing selfies wasn’t the best idea. Here are the top 10 cringe-worthy pictures we’ve all posted at one point or another:
2. “First middle school dance!”
Yeah, your friends will never let you live that one down…
Remember all those corny picture captions we thought were so clever at the time?
4. “Tag your friends!”
A.k.a. tag as many people as possible to get a ton of likes.
We all have that one friend…
One of the first and easily most regrettable selfies.
Back when taking a random nature picture was sooooo hipster and artistic.
8. “Best friends 4eva!” These cute, jumping-in-the-air profile pictures were a necessity for any Facebook profile.
9. “First Halloween party!”
Remember how excited you were for your first “grown-up” costume? Remember looking back and realizing it made no sense?
Yeah, let’s just forget this ever happened.
So look back at your old middle school pictures, have a few laughs, reminisce about all the good times you had with your friends, then maybe untag yourself from one or two–or fifty–pictures.
