STA Travel are giving skilled undergraduate students the experience to get a dream job abroad with a new international work experience programme recently launched. Young Brits are now being given the opportunity of a lifetime to undertake a month-long work placement in Adelaide, South Australia thanks to the launch of their “Mentor Me” campaign.
Whilst finding a job is something that most students are working hard for but dreading, the South Australia tourist board want young people to go over there so that they can show off their amazing country and incredible job opportunities.
The Mentor Me campaign provides an alternative to boring office internships, or your straight forward bar job, providing an opportunity for students who are passionate about both travel and gaining experience in a sought after field. The jobs on offer are applicable to students with background in a variety of courses – from being a Shark Scientist to food Ambassador, from events co-coordinator to exhibition intern, you could gain experience doing some of the most AMAZING jobs ever!
Intern placements will last four weeks and winners will fly to Adelaide on Monday 1st September 2014. Winners will receive an Australian Working Holiday Visa, four weeks accommodation and an allowance, and most importantly their return flight tickets to Adelaide – one of the most vibrant and beautiful cities, boasting incredible scenery, beaches, and a stunning landscape!
