How to Be Productive Over Spring Break in 3 Easy Steps

If you are anything like me, you will most likely accomplish absolutely nothing over Spring Break besides tanning. But not this Spring Break, this Spring Break we are going to be productive and accomplish our goals. All we need is a plan.

1. Make a list

Before Spring Break begins make a list of realistic goals. Once you have an idea of all that you want to accomplish by the end of Spring Break, prioritize. If your room is an absolute disaster make cleaning it number one on your list. Try to set a general deadline that you want to have each item on your list accomplished by. Make sure you keep your schedule and work ethic in mind while making the list.

2. Break up your Goals

Break up each of your tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks. Don’t try to get everything done at once; its too overwhelming and you’ll most likely end up quitting. For instance, clean one part of your room at a time. Start with the most manageable area and work your way from there. Or if you have a huge reading assignment, break the assignment up into small chunks and finish each chunk before moving onto the next goal.

3. Reward your self

After accomplishing each goal, treat yourself to a reward like ice cream because let’s be honest, who isn’t going to spend the majority of their break at the beach? You can even write the end rewards down on your list so you have something tangible to work towards.

Try to stick to your list as much as possible but most importantly, enjoy your Spring Break!
