If you have taken a stroll around campus lately, you may have noticed some Victoria’s Secret ads on the bulletin boards, in the union, and even in the dorms. These ads do not just pop up on their own, however. They are just a sample of all of the hard work that the campus representatives of Victoria’s Secret PINK do daily. The representatives are constantly hard at work to plan fun events, watching parties, mystery games, and even scavenger hunts!

Every year, new representatives are appointed to take the wheel to begin a new generation of PINK on campus. Sam Nygaard and Stephanie Plucinsky are the two shining stars that stood out from the rest to rise into “PINKhood” for 2014-2015. These ladies are ready to help make the campus cuter, and therefore are totally deserving of being our Campus Cuties.

Her Campus (HC): What was the process of becoming a campus representative?

Stephanie Plucinsky (SP): First, we sent in our résumés to the Victoria’s Secret headquarters. About a week or so after we sent them in, we heard back from PINK as to whether or not we made it to the second stage, which was the interview stage. If you make it to the interview stage, you then Skype with a current campus representative for your respective campus, and if they approve of you, you’re in! The process is very selective because only two girls from FSU are picked each year to become representatives.

HC: What are some ways that you hope to advertise Victoria’s Secret PINK to the Seminoles?

Sam Nygaard (SN): I really hope to utilize social media outlets more. Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook are all outlets that we hope to utilize and update more to reach our fellow Seminoles electronically. As a side note, Her Campus does very well with their social media outlets!

HC: Thanks Sam! What are some future events that you hope to have when you are the representatives?

SP: Well, in the past we had mystery boxes hidden in the union. We also had a fashion show viewing party at Prime Time where girls came and got a lot of Victoria’s Secret free goodies such as makeup bags, panties, and even perfume. In the future we know we will have more events such as this such as more fashion show viewing parties, and bra and panty parties. Currently Victoria’s Secret PINK is having a nationwide scavenger hunt that our representatives are hosting at FSU. Keep your eyes out for our letters (PINK) on campus to win more prizes!

HC: What are some perks of being a campus representative?

SN: If you work really hard you can get the title of “Top Rep!” If you become a top rep, PINK treats you to VIP treatment complete with limos and a trip to Ohio for a national party. We are getting flown to Ohio for a brand trading event during which we will also receive VIP treatment and a private shopping event.

HC: What is/are you favorite Victoria’s Secret merchandise?

SP: Bralettes, definitely.

SN: Their reusable water bottles! They have cute sayings on them, like “I Sweat Glitter!”
