Hometown: North Myrtle Beach
Year: Sophomore
Age: 19
Major: Athletic training
Relationship status: Single
Her Campus South Carolina: Soo you’re single…are you happy about that?
Michael Donohue: Haha yes I’m fine with it, just having fun. I just don’t really have time for a relationship right now.
HCSC: What kind of things are you busy with?
MD: I’m a student athletic trainer so I work with different Gamecock sports teams. I’m also a brother of Kappa Sigma and I play a lot of intramural sports.
HCSC: Which sports do you play?
MD: Pretty much everything. Dodge ball, baseball, football, basketball…bowling is my new favorite, I’ve been having a lot of fun with that.
HCSC: What’s your most guilty pleasure?
MD: I love the song “Trouble” by Taylor Swift, I jam out pretty hard every time it comes on.
HCSC: Can’t say we can disagree with that one! On a more serious note, what are your plans for the future?
MD: I would really love to travel the world, maybe while being a full time athletic trainer…if there’s someway I can do both!
HCSC: That sounds awesome! Back to pestering you about girls, do you have a go-to pick up line?
MD: I usually just smile…haha…I don’t know I don’t really have a pick up line! I’m usually more of a simple “hey” kind of a guy, and I start a conversation.
HCSC: Sounds good to us! Any feature in particular that usually draws you in?
MD: Probably either her hair or her eyes.
HCSC: Who is your celebrity crush?
MD: Oooh…probably a tie between Jennifer Lawrence and Olivia Wilde.
HCSC: It’s refreshing to hear something besides Mila Kunis or Megan Fox! OK, enough with girl talk, what’s your most embarrassing moment?
MD: Hmm I don’t know I don’t really do anything embarrassing…I guess it would be the time I got hit square in the genitals in front of scouts at the Sundrop U-18 baseball game. I had to sit out for 20 minutes…that was pretty embarrassing.
HCSC: Sounds pretty bad! Let’s move on to favorites, what’s your favorite food?
MD: Oooh that’s gotta be mom’s homemade stuffed shells.
HCSC: Favorite thing to do in your free time?
MD: Definitely play sports, or go to the beach.
HCSC: Favorite Movie?
MD: No way! There are way too many I can’t just pick one!
HCSC: Fine, fine. How about favorite TV show?
MD: Oh, I’m a big TV fan so I’m in-between a few…it’d probably be 24, Suits, and Game of Thrones.
HCSC: Favorite holiday?
MD: I’m gonna go with New Years.
HCSC: And favorite thing about USC?
MD: Our sports teams.
HCSC: What’s something interesting about you that no one else knows?
MD: Well, I was born in the Virgin Islands. I also love to ski when I get the chance, but I will always live by the beach.
HCSC: We’ll wrap it up with this, what’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?
MD: My sister told me, “Don’t be silly, wrap your willy” when I was about 13 or 14…I’d say that’s a good one.
