Collegiettes, did you miss Her Campus Week?

Well don’t worry, ladies! Here is a recap of our fun events!

We started off Her Campus Week on Monday night. Music Monday was a collaboration with another campus organization, The Poets. We had a ladies night themed open mic with poems and songs centered on women’s issues. This event was enjoyable and empowering. We also had delicious desserts made by HC member Mariam Sarder.

TV Tuesday was a screening of Miss Representation at The Flats. If you still haven’t seen this documentary, you should. This documentary is about how women are portrayed in the media. Luckily, it is available on Netflix.

On Wellness Wednesday, we tabled at Bull Market. We gave away goodie bags to trivia questionnaire winners and offered up health tips. One of our winners was Megan Miller from The Flats pictured with HC member Sarah Halwani.

Throwback Thursday was a 90s themed social. We served Chiptole and played some of our favorite childhood games while jamming to some throwback music. We also had a few contest winners. Sydjea Watson won our best dressed contest in her cute 90s dress. Solange Petersen and I were Connect 4 winners. Throwback Thursday was a fun trip down memory lane!

Fashion Friday started our contest for our Most Fashionable Collegiette. You can still enter to win! All you have to do is post a picture on Instagram and tag us @HerCampusUSF. Make sure you use the following hashtags too: #hercampusherweek #macysbestdressed #macysbestdressedusf. The photo with the most likes will win a $50 Macy’s gift card and be featured on the site.

Stay tuned for more Her Campus events this semester!
