How would you describe your style?

I like to keep up on the fashion trending in both Japan and the U.S., and mix them together to create my own style. I love layering and combining different clothes, as well as wearing soft colors like pastel pink.

What is your favorite article of clothing that you own?

Even though I go through about 10 pairs a month, I love wearing sheer black tights, because they’re very versatile. I can wear them in the summer under a dress, in the winter with shorts and boots, or even under a suit for a business casual occasion.

Is there anything you really want right now?

I’ve recently started wearing a lot of floral maxi skirts with slits on the side, and I can’t get enough of them! They have a really cute spring look, and can be worn with tank tops, crop tops, or even sweaters on top. I also like skirts with slits so that it gives me leg room for those days when I have to power walk to class if I’m late.

What is your favorite accessory?

I wear a blue pearl necklace everyday because it was a gift from my boyfriend. I like wearing floral or patterned clothes, so this simple accessory works well with all of my outfits.

What’s your favorite place to shop?

I like to go shopping in Japan whenever I go back to visit family. There are so many cute little shops with unique clothes. I also like going to Zara or Forever 21.
