Why did you choose to attend UVa?

Orange and blue really brings out my eyes, and the grass on the lawn is some top quality turf.

When did you start playing tennis?

The third full moon of my second leap year of life. (5 years old)

How did you know that you wanted to pursue it at the collegiate level here at UVa?

I really like the coaches’ philosophies here in this program. The culture coach Boland has instilled in the team over the past 10 years is something I wanted to be a part of. It has helped many professionals after they graduate the university.

What has been the most rewarding part of being a member of the UVa Men’s Tennis team?

Being part of a group of guys who share a similar goal. It has been extremely rewarding to work towards this common goal. Being voted Derrière extraordinaire of the team was an added bonus

If you could give your first year, first semester self some advice, what would it be?

Trying to build relationships with other students and student-athletes alike is the most important thing. Also, don’t be afraid to reach out to professors for advice, there’s a lot they can teach you outside of the classroom

Tell us a fun fact about yourself:

I like to dress up in my roommate’s clothes when no one else is around.
