The almighty Skrillex is coming to the Eden Sessions!
That’s right; the American electronic megastar Skrillex will headline at the Eden Sessions on 25 June. Skrillex has sold more than 10 million singles to date, and has featured at many of the top festivals, including the one and only, Glastonbury and, the legendary dance music festival, Creamfields.
His debut album was released in March ths year and hit number one in the UK dance chart!
The 26-year-old has already won six Grammy Awards, and has remixed with stars such as Lady Gaga and Nero.
The tune you will probably recognise Skrillex for is Bangarang which, in my opinion, is one of the best dance tunes of all time…don’t believe me? Check it out!
If you, like me, can’t sit still during that, then you need to go and see him live!
The location of the Eden Project is able to lend itself to any genre of music. I’ve seen various gigs there over the past few years, ranging from Calvin Harris and Jessie J to Jack Johnson and Sigur Ros, and, although every one of those acts has a very different style of performance, the setting has always been perfect! I don’t quite know how Eden Sessions do it, but their gigs are always perfect!
You really do not want to miss this one though.
