I’m Yelling TINDER ITS GOING DOWN

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UPRM chapter.

Well hello hello, all you lovers and f*ckers. Welcome back from Summer break. In honor of all that is holy and sweet I hope your summer was more kiss kiss than sadness; though I’m sure Miss Del Rey would be proud, after all, summer lovin’ is one helluva of a drug. For some, this is the end of an entire era and the beginning of an entirely new experience. For others, it’s been nothing but a short chapter of long goodbyes to amazing friends that have taken the next step in their careers and the rest of their lives.

Don’t worry though, as scary as that might sound, in the grand scheme of it all we’re still pretty much toddlers in this silly thing called life, and there’s a lot of magic to feel and a lot of fun to be had, or naps if that your thing.

However, as a 4th year veteran I know all too well how awkward and difficult meeting new people can be. While we can all agree, that watching Cady Heron make a complete fool of herself in front of Aaron Samuels was hilarious, this is real life, and trying to figure out if the hottie in Spanish class is into you is about as hard as saying no to pizza on hangover Fridays.

But don’t worry kids, there’s a new toy in town. I’M YELLING TINDER IT’S GOING DOWN!!! No but really, bad jokes aside, Tinder is a fun little app that’s changing the entire game. Its like Snap Chat met up with A Doble Shot of Love with Tila Tequila and invited Facebook over for some 3-way fun.

The mechanics are pretty easy; hook up your Facebook account, choose a few pictures, and write a cherry bomb bio, and boom, you’re ready to swipe away to your next boy toy, maybe. Sounds a little sketchy huh? But its really that simple, if you like someone and they like you, it’s a match, and then AND only then can you guys message each other. If only dating were that simple..

Feel like sharing you and your girls twerking at the club, I know I do, and there’s a literally a button just for that, and just like your Snap Chat story it disappears by tomorrow morning.

Pretty snazzy right? What started as a social experiment became my secret hobby, and a couple of my friends’ most recent obsession. Besides, it’s free, and who doesn’t love free stuff? But don’t take my word for it, try it out for yourself.

P.S here’s a cute little video for all you raging hipsters

Just a silly homo on the pursuit of happiness with a passion for women and bad choices with delicious endings.
