Collegiette of the Month: Ana Zdravkovic

This month, Her Campus McGill is celebrating one of our many awesome contributors, Ana Zdravkovic. An amazing team player, Ana does a terrific job running our beautiful Instagram, and she consistently knocks out great articles that everyone loves, such as her most recent how-to piece on DIY infused ice cubes. Ana is a second year student in Psychology. Read on to learn more about what makes her tick and why we love her so much!

Esther Vinarov for Her Campus McGill (HC McGill): How did you get involved with Her Campus McGill?

Ana Zdravkovic (AZ): I was at the club fair during first year and saw two girls sitting at the table. They explained Her Campus to me and I immediately fell in love with it! I’ve always been obsessed with writing and I feel like Her Campus is the perfect way to write relatable and current articles that appeal to any collegiette from all over the world. 

HC McGill: Tell us more about your role at Her Campus McGill:

AZ: I am a writer for Her Campus McGill and I also run the Her Campus McGill Instagram account. I especially love posting my DIY ideas and attending off-campus events and then writing up my personal experience about them! 

HC McGill: Are you involved with any other extracurricular activities on campus?

AZ: I am a commitee member for UNICEF McGill and I’m also working at Anthropologie this semester. 

HC McGill: What is your favorite place to eat in Montreal?

AZ: Wow this is a tough one because I love food so much and Montreal has some of the best restaurants. If I had to narrow it down to one choice, though, I would have to say Cafe Arts. They have the most amazing brunch, such a unique menu and the place is beautifully decorated. I highly recommend going. 

HC McGill: What is the absolute craziest thing you’ve done while at McGill?

AZ: I went to Igloofest wearing a unicorn onesie!

HC McGill: Do you have any special quirky talents?

AZ: I am super double jointed in my elbows, so it looks like my arms bend the other way… I don’t even know if that’s a talent? 

HC McGill: Who are your guy and girl celebrity crushes?

AZ: Guy: anyone with a man bun, really, but probably Mac Demarco and Johnny Depp. Girl: Nicole Richie. She is so cool and really, I just want to be her.
