Fall is finally here. It’s arguably the most beautiful time of the year on campus- the leaves are as golden as the football helmets, your dorm feels cozier than usual, and you can finally break out those adorable boots. Not to mention, everything smells more rich and homey, and you are just itching to do those Fall activities like picking apples and carving pumpkins more than ever. We love Fall, and so should you! Here are 11 reasons why!
1. Walks down the Avenue just got 10x more beautiful. Don’t believe me? Try it out for yourself.
2. Football games are way better in the Fall. No one knows why, it is just a mystery and a well- known fact.
3. Your dorm room is not a miserable sauna anymore. Can I get an “Amen!”
4. The locally grown apples in the dining hall are a must, and you definitely need to snag one before heading home from the dining hall. They are crisp and delicious, and you don’t find apples like these just anywhere.
5. Halloween parties. ‘Nuff said.
6. Everything smells a little like cinnamon for no particular reason but it’s awesome so embrace it.
7. We have access to PSL. Dangerous I know, but a fall favorite. If you are looking for a healthy alternative, there are some great recipes for Pumpkin Spice Power Smoothies out there! Check it out!
8. THE CLOTHES. Not only are fall clothes comfortable, they are down right cute. And let’s face it- you’ve waited all year long to pull those boots back on.
9. Disney Channel finally starts showing good movies again. Everyone loves “Halloween Town,” and if you’ve never seen it, it’s a definite must.
10. All of the fun fall things you loved as a kid you now get to do with your best friends and sisters. It doesn’t get much better than that.
11. Actually, it does- we’re one step closer to Christmas.
