Halloween is one of the most exciting nights of the year. As girls, we get to wear daring outfits, put on our boldest lipstick, and channel our costume’s persona. As fun as the night might get, it isn’t worth splurging 80 dollars on a sexy cop costume that you will probably only wear once. Here are some stylish, cute, and low-budget costumes that you can whip up in a day!

1. If you are like me, you love Beyonce, but you can’t wear a bodysuit around campus. Thank goodness for Halloween! To dress up like Queen Bey, you don’t need to spend money like a queen. Go to your local mall and pick up an affordable bodysuit in your color of choice. Then, go to your local dollar store and pick up some jewels or lace and attach them to your bodysuit. Put some soft waves into your hair, throw on you favorite stilettos, and you will be Sasha Fierce.

2. An easy costume that you can probably get right out of your closet is the Fashionista costume. Dress up like your favorite fashionista and keep the outfit for casual use. To dress up like my favorite fashionista, Alexa Chung, you will need a chic outfit that will usually cover up a good portion of the body. Wear a cute dress or a shirt and skirt combination. Give your lob a soft wave and wear a cat-eye eyeliner look with a clean complexion. My favorite foundation to give me flawless skin is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, but a cheaper alternative is the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation.

3. This costume’s price will depend on whether or not you won an adorbale unicorn at the Del Mar, Orange County, or Los Angeles Fair. Agnes from Despicable Me is a great costume for all of you Pixar lovers. I suggest getting your yellow/orange shirt and overalls from a thrift store. Tie your hair up in a messy, high ponytail, put on a pair of sneakers, and you will be so cute we are going to die!
