NHHS Lyceum Academy’s Haunted House
New Hanover High School’s Lyceum Academy is holding their haunted house this year, which has a fun theme to spook their guests! Taking a creative plot twist on the classic “Alice in Wonderland,” the Lyceum Academy brings on a horror show for everyone to enjoy. Whether you are looking for a Halloween date night, or just want something to do with your friends, this haunted house is something entertaining to do for everyone. It is rated PG-13, and more details are provided on their Facebook page. This event has a $10 admission fee, and is open on October 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 30, and 31. The hours of operation are from 7 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s; also from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday’s.

Bellamy Mansion Movie Night
The Bellamy Mansion movie night is a great idea for an enjoyable Halloween date! On Oct. 31, two films will be playing in honor of this season’s haunted holiday at a supposed ghostly mansion, which makes this event all the more exciting. This movie night includes some classic Halloween films, the first one being Hocus Pocus that begins at 7 p.m. and then Psycho starting at 9 p.m. Admission is only $5 and popcorn, beer, and wine are sold at the event. Just make sure to bring a blanket, chairs, and plenty of Halloween candy!

Legacy Farms Haunted Farm
If you’re looking for the ultimate Halloween fun to participate in, you may want to look no further than Legacy Farms Haunted Farm. This will be the fifth year that Legacy Farms has been in the business of spooking people, and there are many activities to do to keep entertained while there. From a haunted house to a corn maze and woods trail there are eerie sightings everywhere. Don’t forget a zombie hunt is also on the activity list! This farm is located in Wallace, N.C. and will be open on Oct. 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 30, 31, and Nov. 1.
