If You’re Trying to Get Stuff Done, Avoid These Websites

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Ottawa chapter.

Excluding the obvious (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) here’s a list of some of the most time sucking and addicting websites. You should avoid them…seriously.

1) Pinterest

Because who doesn’t need to know how to craft candle holders, or the easiest up-dos?

2) Buzzfeed

Need I say more?

3) YouTubeBecause at some point you’re so far into the depths of YouTube you find stuff like thisAnd have to watch every other video, too, obviously.

4) Polyvore

If you haven’t heard of this site, it’s actually really awesome.  It’s perfect for those edge-of-fashion, allowing you to search tons of clothing, and accessories by collection, celeb, or style.

5) Texts From Last Night

I cannot be the only one who enjoys laughing at the folly of others on the Internet once in a while.

6) How Do I Put This Gently?

Because how impeccably relevant this grad student’s posts are.

7) Reddit

I just want to know and see everything. All at once.
