Graduation is bittersweet. It can be exciting knowing that you are moving on and beginning to start the next chapter in your life, or it can feel like the worst day ever – the end of the best four years of your life. It can be a scary feeling for most seniors, not knowing what’s next for them and where they will be living six months from now. Realizing that every Tuesday won’t be filled with endless dancing at 90s night, ditching your last class on Thursday to get to Happy Hour early or sitting on your couch for hours laughing with your housemates because you’ll be able to pass that quiz tomorrow without reading the assigned chapter.
The best four years of your life are over, until that one weekend in the fall that brings alumni back to relive their Bruno Balls days – homecoming. This weekend Miami’s campus was flooded with alumni coming back for more Redskins at Broken Clock.
Here are 11 thoughts all Miami alumni have coming back to campus:
1. How many more minutes until I can have a Crunch and Munch in my mouth?
2. Do you think he (the ex-bf) has a new girlfriend?
3. How many Redskins are acceptable to hold at once?
4. My little better let me crash with her, even though I’m working, I still can’t afford a hotel.
5. I’m so happy, I could cry actual tears of joy.
6. Is it acceptable to shack in a dorm?
7. Three words: Beat. The. Clock.
8. I’m back in my happy place. Whoever said Disney World was in Florida was lying.
9. Oh my god, we’re going out at 11? I can’t remember the last time I was up past 10:30pm.
10. Am I getting too old for this?
11. Absolutely, not…..
