We’re more than halfway through the semester, and the juicy celebrity news continues. This week was filled with a few strange events, possible pregnancies and even an eye color change (yes, I said eye color change). In order to not spoil all the news, here is this week’s Entertainment10!
1. Jessica Biel has a possible baby on board? Pregnancy rumors have surrounded Biel and husband Justin Timberlake since the two wed in 2012, but this time the rumors seem to be the most substantial. When InStyle editor Ariel Foxman posted a photo on Instagram with Biel and captioned it, “Congrats @jessicabiel on your impending motherhood … Looking forward to the red carpet maternity style pix to come #tbt,” the Internet went into a tail spin. Although it remains pure speculation, Biel’s clothing choices don’t do much to deny the rumors. She has been wearing loose-fitting clothes for months, and people everywhere swore a recent picture showed a baby bump. Among all these reports, Timberlake attended the amfAR Gala in Los Angeles on Wednesday without his possibly pregnant wife.
2. Bruce Jenner sports red hot nails. Yes, you read that correctly. Jenner was spotted cruising around Malibu with fire engine red nails. The former Olympian and star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians was seen by paparazzi last week with natural nails. However, later in the afternoon, the 65-year-old birthday boy ended up with a set of fully manicured red nails. Jenner’s “changing” appearance in recent months has been the talk of the tabloids saying he was “developing into a woman.” This recent manicure will definitely not dispel the rumors. However, Bruce’s ex, Kris Jenner, has made statements on Today clearing up the mess. “It’s silly,” she said of Bruce’s apparent transformation. “They’ve been saying that since the ’70s. You’d think it’d be cooked by now.”
3. Hugh Jackman undergoes his third skin cancer treatment. The X-Men actor was recently treated for his third basal cell carcinoma in the past year, his rep told E! News. His rep additionally stated that Jackman is “all good” now. He last had cancerous cells removed in November 2013 and May 2014. As news broke about Jackman’s treatment, he posted on Instagram an image that said, “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)…” and captioned it “SUNSCREEN!”
4. Bethenny Frankel returns to Real Housewives of New York. What seems like fiction is in fact reality, as fan favorite Frankel has returned to the Bravo hit show RHONY. Frankel, who has not been back on the show since leaving in 2010, will return for the show’s seventh season. Frankel spoke to People regarding her return, saying, “The band is not back together,” in terms of her former costars, Jill Zarin, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Alex McCord. She additionally stated, “There are some of us who will be together but not everyone.” The RHONY cast won’t be the only thing different this season. After creating one of the top beverage companies in the world, getting married, having a baby girl and now going through a serious divorce battle, Frankel is no longer the single, up-and-coming chef she started the RHONY series as. This is something Frankel realizes, saying, “I had no money, no kid, no relationship. I was the perfect reality person.” She continued by adding, “The decisions I make [now] affect other people… some things about my personal life will remain private.”
5. Tameka “Tiny” Harris changes her eye color. Before you ask how this is even possible, let it be known that Tiny traveled to northern Africa to have the procedure done. Here in the US, the surgery is illegal due to the risk of blindness, glaucoma, cataract and corneal problems. Despite such risks, the reality star posted a picture to Instagram of her new eye color, saying, “Huge thanks to the incredible doctor(s) for the amazing experience and for making my dream come true! I hated wearing contacts just for the color and it made my vision blurry! Blessed to say my vision is #perfect…Special thanks to the #Brightocular staff for ALL that you’ve done to make this process happen…” Additionally, in her first interview since the procedure, she told ABC News’ Deborah Roberts, “They are ice gray. That’s the color I purchased.”
6. Suge Knight and Katt Williams were arrested. The Death Row Records co-founder and Friday After Next comedian were arrested for allegedly stealing a camera from a celebrity photographer. Although the alleged incident occurred Sept. 5, Williams was arrested when he showed up in court for an unrelated assault case. The Associated Press reports the charge carries a possible 30-year sentence for Knight. Williams, on the other hand, could face up to seven years.
7. Despite her current family struggles, Gia Giudice releases a music video. Teresa Giudice’s 13-year-old daughter and her girl group, 3KT, released a music video covering Britney Spears’s “Circus.” The video, which was posted to the group’s YouTube channel on Halloween, shows Gia, Alexa Maetta and Cristianna Cardinale, singing and dancing to the 2008 hit. This follows the sentencing of Gia’s mother and father for fraud.
8. Mama June’s daughter speaks out following news of molestation by her mother’s alleged new boyfriend. Anna Cardwell, the 20-year-old daughter of June Shannon, sat down with Entertainment Tonight to discuss her mother’s alleged relationship with sex offender Mark McDaniel. Last week, TLC canceled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo following allegations that Mama June was dating a child molester who was exposing himself to her children. Cardwell claims McDaniel sexually assaulted her when she was 8. Cardwell told ET, “It’s like she’s happy… She’s smiling and giggling when he’s around. You know, he’s a child molester, Mama. He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did? And reportedly done it to another girl? And Mama was like, ‘Oh, he never done it to another girl.'” June has yet to comment since news broke her daughter was an alleged victim of her possible new flame.
9. Amanda Bynes was spotted eating at Mel’s Diner on Sunset Boulevard just days after a judge extended her stay in a psychiatric hospital for another 30 days. The day following her resurfacing, Bynes tweeted, “I am going to court with my lawyer today to fight my mother and father over control of my personal life and control of my finances.” As if like clockwork, Bynes tweeted, “People need to hear the truth about who I really am – I need to show the judge that not only do I not need ANY help making decisions about My future, I was planning on transferring to NYU, and I was never homeless, I was living in the nicest hotels until I found the right apt in NY.” She also tweeted, “My Dad Is UGLY FOOLS.” So, what’s the deal with Bynes’ release from her psychiatric hold? After a psychiatric hold is extended for 30 days, the patient has the right to state why he or she should not be in an involuntary hold. With that being said, Bynes will be free to roam until her court hearing in February to address her conservatorship reinstated by her mother Lynn.
10. The first Furious 7 trailer has been released. The film has been long awaited since the release of Fast & Furious 6 as well as the tragic death of star Paul Walker last year. The trailer of the highly anticipated film features a few of Walker’s last scenes that were filmed before his death. When asked what Walker would have thought about Furious 7, his co-star Michelle Rodriguez told E! News, “He would gaze with his beautiful blue eyes and that wonderful, amazing, childlike smile that he would get whenever he’d have, like, a cargasm…[he] would just go from ear to ear, and he’d be like, ‘Finally, it’s in the f-cking can!’” The film is set to be released April 3, 2015.
