Taylor Swift
Don’t even lie – you’ve secretly dreamed of confessing your deepest, darkest secrets to Taylor. Ever since we were middle school, she just seemed to get it. We’ve all had a “Teardrops on My Guitar”-style unrequited crush. We’ve felt completely “Fearless” at times. And of course, we always need a friendly reminder to shake off the haters!
We imagine that Taylor Swift holds the ultimate girl’s nights – think homemade cookies (we’re dying to know what’s in those chai sugar cookies!), cats, and lots of heart-to-hearts. Who wouldn’t want that in a best friend?
Blake Lively
Hello, personal stylist! Did you know that Blake Lively picks out all of her own looks? You know this girl’s got some serious fashion-savvy, and we wouldn’t mind getting a few pointers! Did we mention she’s also BFFs with Anna Wintour?
Of course, Blake is much more than your average style icon. One visit to her recent lifestyle website Preserve shows that Blake is basically living out all of our Pinterest fantasies. A beautifully decorated home, a gorgeous closet, and all the delicious food a girl could want. We’d like to think that when we’re going through a tough time, Blake would be at our door with a freshly baked apple pie.
Tina Fey & Amy Poehler
These two are definitely a package deal! They might have a few more years on us, but as Amy’s character in Mean Girls said: “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom.”
Tina and Amy can dish out those life lessons we all need, but do it while making us laugh. Plus, we imagine they have some epic wine nights. If they wanted to invite all their friends along (Kristen Wiig and Aubrey Plaza come to mind), we wouldn’t complain!
Emma Stone
Is it just us, or has Emma Stone established herself as one of the coolest girls of all? Who else can be absolutely hilarious yet totally graceful? Also she’s dating Spider-Man – that’s just awesome.
One thing that totally sold us? When she and boyfriend Andrew Garfield shut down the paparazzi in the coolest way possible. Clearly this is a girl who could care less about the fame, but cares a whole lot about others!

From one Emma to another (and another!). Emma Watson definitely proved she was the ultimate girlfriend last month with her flawless “He for She” speech at the United Nations. We’d totally want Emma in our corner – you know she has no problem standing up for her fellow girls.
She’s Ivy League-educated, classy, and of course, stylish. We could stand to learn a thing or two from Emma. And who knows? Maybe if we get super close, she’ll let us in on some juicy Harry Potter set secrets! We can dream, right?
