Okay, Sydney, what year are you?
~ “I’m a Sophomore now! Though next semester I’ll be a junior, bang bang, knocking that stuff out!”
That’s awesome! Now regarding your major, has apparel merchandising always been the plan?
~ “Oh no no no, I love my major, but I came in pre-med. Which is literally just the same gen-eds as anyone… then early on last year my best friend switched too apparel merchandising and dragged me into all that. Now even though he switched out again I have found the perfect major for me!
What about the dream job, where do you see yourself being if everything goes right?
~ “Chilling with Beyonce.”
Logically, but what about your career goals?
~ “ LOL, okay okay, well I feel like you only get one chance to easily move for a job and that’s right after graduating. If you set up shop in Oklahoma soon you’ll be sporting that fam all around town and you aren’t going anywhere.
So then what’s the plan for you?
~ “To move, duh, but no I would be just fine living in Tulsa, that’s where I’m from, I love Forest Ridge…that’s my neighborhood in Broken Arrow. But I want to move back to Florida, I grew up in Texas and Florida and I just see myself on the beach somewhere.
I do know, and just to clarify what was the dream job you would have in Florida
~ “Oh sorry, oops, I want to become a buyer, like a retail buyer for a company. Then eventually a senior buyer and progress to owning my own store or company. You really can’t do that kind of business in Oklahoma.
Well now that we know the dream job, talk to me about the dream guy, are you single right now?
~ “LOL yes. And the dream guy…someone physically attractive, at least 6’1” if were being shallow. In shape since I love to work out and he has to have a kind heart with a lot of ambition. Family oriented would be a plus also he has to treat me like a princess.” (Followed by a hair flip befitting a princess)
Okay, and finally, do you have a life motto, something it all always comes back to for you?
~ “Things don’t start or stop for you, if this was a marathon the worlds always going, you can’t just keep up, you don’t want to tie at life, you have be ahead and you can’t ever fall behind.
