Meet sophomore Elana Axler. A spring with strawberry blonde locks, she is all about class and comfort. Born and raised in Atlanta, she bought the relaxed striped T she’s sporting at a boutique in her hometown, and matched the piece with Crown Vintage biege booties to tie the ensemble together. She makes use of bright blue jeans from Zara, with just enough rippage to spice up the outfit. Elana completes the look with a few thin bracelets, repping the Jewish evil eye to stay close to her roots.
Elana is very active in the Jewish community. She spent this past summer abroad in Israel, interning at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, a connection she found through BU. She is also involved in BU Students for Israel and frequents BU’s Hillel for meals and events.
An SMG student, Elana boasts a classy but comfortable style. Her favorite stores include Zara, because it’s “classy but the prices aren’t ridiculous plus the clothes are good quality,” Jcrew, because “it’s classy with a hint of southern prep” and Lit Boutique on Newbury, which she just discovered the other day and thinks is super cute.
