Attending the New York Film Festival and Katie Couric Show for my classes, participating in events that the college hosts with special guests I admire (recently April Hernandez & Tina Santi Flaherty), singing in “MMC’s Got Talent” and going to a taping of Anderson Live during Hurricane Sandy with other students and actually getting to meet Anderson Cooper!Fav Class You’ve Taken: All of Professor Corey Liberman’s Communication classes are amazing, Women’s Magazines Journalism, Fashion & Society, Music as Media, and of course Films of Martin Scorsese & Quentin Tarantino (because I asked the department to offer the course and they did – yay!)  Advice for freshman: Explore all of New York City, don’t limit yourself to certain neighborhoods and boroughs. Embrace all of it! Take advantage of all the concerts, Broadway shows, museums, sports, restaurants, art, talk show tapings and various events – the very best of everything is located here!

FavesMovie: GoodFellas. I am a huge film buff and the list is endless. The Great Gatsby, Kill Bill, The Blind Side, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, Walk The Line, The Family Stone, Breakfast At Tiffany’s, The First Wives Club, American Hustle, The Proposal. Everything by my favorite film guys, Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino, is extraordinary. TV Show: The Sopranos, Gilmore Girls, Friends, The King of Queens, Criminal Minds, Pretty Little Liars, One Tree Hill, Nip/Tuck, Desperate Housewives, Alias and many more. I watch it all. My favorite reality shows are The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Mob Wives. Plus, The Simple Life haha. Book: I am such a bookworm! Some of my favorite reads: The Great Gatsby, Gone Girl (all of Gillian Flynn’s novels), Eat Pray Love, The Wolf of Wall Street, Fifty Shades Trilogy, everything by Nicholas Sparks, The Spectacular Now, Style A To Zoe, Twilight Saga, Pride & Prejudice, The Fault in Our Stars, Wiseguy, Palo Alto and the autobiographies/biographies of my inspirations. For cookbooks, all of Teresa Giudice’s for sure.Study Spot: At home, my comfy Tempur-Pedic bed. On campus, the pretty terrace.Song: Music is my life. Obsessed with Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert/Pistol Annies especially. I listen to all genres. Fro-yo and ice cream are amazing too. Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts? I have serious addictions to both Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts.Stay up late or wake up early? Stay up late. There ain’t no rest for the wicked! I find occasional early mornings to be nice sometimes as well. Brooklyn Nets or New York Knicks? Both. I love reppin’ all of New York’s sports teams. Concerts or Broadway Shows? I frequently attend both. I live in concert venues and show theaters.
