In at least one of your classes you’re bound to have an international student siting next to you. Yes they are pretty cool, with their accents and foreign features, but they are really sick of hearing those annoying basic (and weird) questions. Here’s a list of things international students are SO over being asked every five seconds.

“How do you say *insert word* with your accent?”

“Do they have the internet where you’re from?”

“You must be crazy to leave your country! Does it suck that bad?”

“How much cooler do you think America is?”

“Do you have actual bathrooms in your part of the country?”

“Does your country have Twinkies?”

“Why did you apply to UT?”

“Oh my gosh the drinking age in your country is so low! You probably drink 24/7 right?”

“Who is the Justin Bieber of your country?”

“It must be hard living with people who don’t speak your language, right?”

“Hey are our French fries better than yours?”

“It’s got to be difficult not having your parents in the same country as you, right?”

“Do they even have malls where you live?”

“Obviously you’re rich because you’re going to an American university, right?”

“How do you get your mail?”

“What’s it like living so far away from such an awesome country like America?”
