What is your favorite part about being a member of UVA Women’s Basketball team?

The comfort I receive from my teammates and the members of the staff. There is never a dull moment with this team and I am thankful for that. I never get tired of being around such a wonderful group of girls.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I listen to gospel music and dancing in the locker room with my teammates.

How do you manage your time as a student-athlete?

I make sure I get a lot of rest. Our schedule can be crazy at times, especially when we are in season so I try to get to bed early so that I can be productive the next day. I also make use of the library to get schoolwork done. The Scholars room at Alderman Library is where I get the bulk of my work done, especially when I have papers.

Advice you would give to your first year self?

Time manage is very significant.

Something people don’t know about you?

I am the last child of my parents and I will be the first to earn a college degree in my family this spring.
