Why Being A Superhero Would Be Nice During Finals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UPR chapter.

Have you ever experienced that feeling that washes over you like a tidal wave after watching superhero movies and/or any movie whose plot involves ninjas, superpowers, swords, epic stunts, mythical creatures, alternate universes where the lightsaber is a thing and witchcraft is legal (or illegal) and just anything even that remotely cool?

Was your answer to the previous question yes? This feeling is best described in a word that is so encompassing there’s almost nothing left to say. That word is badass, fellow interwebbers. It’s like you’re a superpowered magic ninja that flies, has ice cream vision and saves the planet (and their grades) ALL AT ONCE. You feel it, don’t you, you feel the impending danger and you’re ready to kick some villain booty? Your spidey senses are tingling, aren’t they? But is it really the superpowers? The answer to that one, unfortunately, is no. It’s probably real life knocking on your door like hey, get a hold of yourself, you actually need to get things done and school is almost over, so you should try to salvage what you can. Oh, reality.Your beauty is as delightful as it is annoying, it really is.

We know it’s sad, but carry on fellow interwebbers! May your nonexistent superpowers help you (and your brain!) ace those final tests, write those 8 to 10 page essays and most importantly, survive the upcoming weeks. May the force be with you!
