HC:Â What is your ideal date?
CG: Going downtown around Riverside, catching a movie at Sunray, and then walking around a bit.Â
HC: One characteristic of your ideal girl?
CG: I’d like her to be intelligent. And unique. And kind… and humble!
HC: If you could be any female celebrity, who would it be and why?
CG: Janis Joplin. I just think she’s rad.
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
CG: I’d like to have a family by then. I could do anything with [my degree], but I’m leaning towards teaching.Â
HC: Do you have a “hero” or “role model?”
CG: Yeah. My role models are my parents. Most of the things I do is for them. But also, the great teachers that I’ve had.Â
HC: What about yourself do you find the most pride in?
CG: My ability to listen in the times of need.
HC: What is one of your worst habits?
CG: A habit that I hate a lot is how incredibly self-serving I am sometimes.Â
HC: What is the craziest thing that you have ever done in your life?
CG: In Boca Grande, there were huge four-story houses, and my friends and I would jump from the roof to the pool.
HC: What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve done?
CG: I had a Green Day cover band in seventh grade. We sang American Idiot in our middle school talent show!Â
HC: Tell me something about you that no one knows.
CG: When I was a kid, I was a colicky baby! So, I cried a lot. In elementary school, too.Â
HC: What is your favorite quote or motto that you live by?
CG: David Foster Wallace gave a commencement speech. “This is Water.” Basically, just try to be kind.
