If you’re a rock fan and haven’t heard of Anthony Green, you’re missing out. Between singing for the bands Circa Survive, Saosin, and The Sound of Animals Fighting, and owning the record label Moshtradamus, he manages to maintain a successful solo career.
I had the pleasure of meeting him before his solo show at the House of Blues in San Diego last Friday. He greeted each fan with a bear hug and plenty of gratitude and humor. “The best part about meeting you guys is being able to smell you,” he joked.
Green bases the bulk of his expressive lyrics from his love for his wife and children, as well as from his experiences as a former drug abuser. Check out his music if you’re in for some addictive melodies.
