Seattle vs. New England

With Super Bowl Season quickly approaching, it’s time to think of ways to create the ultimate celebration setting.  Send out the invites, Facebook posts or text message blasts and let 2015 be the best Super Bowl yet!

1) The first thing that you will need to have is food.  Lots and lots of food.  It’s important to remember that you are not feeding the actual team, just the fans, and therefore the best options are mini foods.  Dips, dips and more dips, chicken wings, loaded nachos, potato skins or mini sliders always go over well.  Desserts can be done best by making food from the team’s city or by adding their colors into the recipes. Full fans are happy fans.

2) As for decorating, homemade banners are a simple solution.  If you aren’t exactly artistic, you can always order custom plate, cup and napkin sets from online or find them at your nearest party store. Fun props to purchase that can pump up the atmosphere are referee whistles, noise makers or pom-poms.

3) Halftime can be a boring part of the day but if you’re 21 or over, it’s a great time to create your own unique halftime drinking game.  This year Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz will be performing, so create some rules that apply specifically to their performances, such as: one drink each time Katy says “firework,” two drinks for every change in hair color, and another drink if “American Woman” is played. Just remember to play it safe! You don’t want to foul out before the game’s over.

Super Bowl trivia is another great go-to if people are looking for something to do at the half.  Test everyones skills and find out who is truly the biggest fan!

With such a fun and yummy atmosphere, even those who hate football will want to come and be part of the celebration!  We recommend keeping plenty of beverages stocked for those who fancy “Sunday Fun Day,” but remember that part of being a good host is also making sure that your guests get home responsibly.  Call a cab or keep the celebration going until the crowd sobers up.

Bring your jerseys and your appetites, because this year’s Super Bowl is sure to be legendary!
