Recently crowned Mr. Synergy 2014, this week’s Campus Cutie has no qualms showing off his stellar dance moves. A kind-hearted goofball, this cutie is sure to keep you laughing. Say hello to Prithvi!
Grade: Junior
Age: 20
Major: Biomedical Engineering
Nicknames: Prith. Freshmen year people on my floor called me “P-diddy.” Also the“Spice Train,” but I’m not sure if you should write that.
Hometown: I was born in India, and moved to Indianapolis when I was three. I moved to Parsippany, New Jersey when I was five.
Campus Involvement: Ambassadors, Sigma Pi, Club Soccer
Favorite TCNJ Memory: Welcome Week 2014. It was awesome being an Ambassador during Welcome Week and getting to see the other side of the process.
Favorite Quote: “Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
Pet Peeves: When people bite their straws, that just irks me. When people say, “what was your name?” because it’s not “was,” your name still is and will always be your name. Rolling backpacks. Bad dress clothing etiquette!
Favorite movie and book: A Few Good Men. For books, The House of the Scorpion and Hatchet.
Favorite place: India. It’s a whole different lifestyle there. It is more casual, and a lot more family oriented. In India everywhere you go you see these little things you wouldn’t see here, like a street kid who knows three more languages than you know. In India there seems to be slightly purer essences of people.
Hidden Talents: I like to sing and dance; I can sing in Hindi. I do some impressions-Sean Connery being one of them.
Celebrity Crush: Scarlett Johansson, Alice Eve
What traits are you looking for in a girl? Sense of humor, talkative, can deal with my rambling and ridiculous bulls***. Fun, but at the same time intelligent – she has to have future plans and goals in her life. Being able to enjoy life and not take things to seriously but also to know when things should be taken seriously.
Ideal first date or date: Doing something fun or active, going out to eat. Going paintballing or something like that, and then transitioning to food. And talking obviously. Food choice is a great determinant of compatibility.
Relationship Status? Single
What was on your Christmas list this year? Dress clothes. Shirt, tie, shoes, belt, tie clip. I really like wearing dress clothes-it makes you look suave.
