As his name suggests, Stephen Peace is a keeper of peace. Peace graduated from UC San Diego in 1976 as a Political Science major. Using his degree, he served as the California Senator, the 40th Senate District, the Chair of the Senate Budget and Fiscal Review Committee, and California Journal of Legistalure of the year 2000. During his term, he wrote criminal justice forms that advocated for the protection of victims of violent crimes. One of his most well known law is the “one strike you’re out” bill, which increases penalites for sex offenders. He also participated in laws that were aimed at protecting people’s privacy and preventing identity theft. Along with his impressive list of political titles and practices, he is an actor, producer, and writer, in the films Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and Happy Hour. He is currently the senior advisor for John Moores, the owner of the San Diego Padres, is the chairman of the board of directors for the California Independent Voter Project and the CEO of Killer Tomatoes Entertainment.
