In a blink of an eye the year flies by! Can you believe it’s spring semester already?! Being prepared for class is a must, but when heading back to campus school essentials can take a backseat to those fab holiday gifts! Don’t worry though Her Campus Scranton is here to help with our 12 Spring Semester Must Haves!

  1. Infinity ScarfCold weather calls for being cozy and comfy, that’s exactly what you’ll get with the Crisscross Knit Infinity Scarf! This type of scarf keeps you warm as you venture out into the freezing temperatures. If you’re dressing up for a girl’s night out or heading to LSC in leggings this scarf is the perfect match!

  8. To Go CupsSay hello to $0.50 refills at Starbucks. Stay warm this semester with a coffee, tea, or latte in these super cute cups. Cheeky Home is an unbelievable company with a great mission. Exclusively sold at Target and when you buy these products Cheeky dones the monetary equivalent of a meal to Feeding America. One meal is equivalent to $0.111, $1 helps provide 9 meals.
  9. PlannerHow many days left until I need that bikini body, when is spring break, Easter Break lets start a countdown, oh yeah and your school assignments. A planner is a must, the notes in our phones and memory only go so far. Try to outline your semester from the beginning according to syllabi. A little Lilly never hurt anybody.
  10. Hair Ties We know this is an obvious one but how many times did you find yourself in need of one at the gym or in class (after you just sprinted there). Be prepared and always have these on hand, unlike other hair ties these are nearly indestructible, and do not leave that awful “kink”, plus it looks super cute on your wrist!
  11. UmbrellaScranton, home of the Royals and rain. Do not go this semester without a good umbrella; it does truly make a difference on a rainy day. This umbrella is super fun and durable, it even automatically goes up and down.
  12. Gloves Raise your hang if you like cold hands! Exactly, so cozy up with these super cute and warm Echo tech gloves. You will not need to remove them to text your BFF that you just saw someone faceplant on the commons or to take your beautiful snow selfie.

Elise is a Jersey girl who loves to travel the world, she enjoys keeping up with the latest fashion trends and believes an Instagram a day keeps the doctor away. She is a senior at the University of Scranton majoring in Strategic Communication with a minor in Writing. Elise is the Campus Correspondent of Her Campus Scranton, which she co-founded in September 2014 with her best friend Samantha (every brunette needs a blonde right?) This past summer she interned in Public Relations at The Thomas Collective, a boutique lifestyle agency in New York City. Samantha is an East Coast girl from Pennsylvania with a New York City attitude and a Florida mindset. Her shopping habits are contagious; she has inherited them from her mom (they say mother knows best, right?). Samantha is a University of Scranton senior majoring in Strategic Communication with a minor in Business.
