We’re proud to introduce our first Campus Cutie! Ladies and gentlemen, meet Nikki Gorman! At just 21 years old, she’s has accomplished a dream shared by many: skating at the TD Garden as a Bruins Ice Girl!

Gorman has always been an avid fan of the Boston Bruins hockey team. After competing with 600 other women for a spot on the ice, she was selected to become an Ice Girl for the 2013 – 2014 season.

“It was undoubtedly the most amazing job a girl could have,” Gorman said. “Walking into the Garden gave me chills as I would make my way into the Zamboni tunnel and the cheers of over 20,000 fans roared throughout my body.”

But her busy schedule as a kinesiology major made her unable to commit to the job for a second season. As a transfer student living at home, there wasn’t much time to make friends outside of the classroom. When second semester rolled around, she decided to rush a new sorority on campus and was sold. Even though Gorman never dreamed she’d be in a sorority, she is now the president of her chapter!

“Involvement in my sorority has lead me to a place where I call home,” she said. “I fell in love with all that it stands for, and it changed my life so quickly. I soon found myself growing as a woman, as a leader and as a friend.”

Read on to learn more about Gorman and her accomplishments!
