Do you have any talents or hobbies? If so, how did you get involved with those particular things/how long have you been involved? Does anyone inspire you?
I beat box! When I was 14 years old, I started watching YouTube videos of people beat boxing and somehow I just caught on. Since then I’ve performed in multiple talent shows. It always shocks people when I start doing it.
Â
If you could switch places with a professor for one day who would you choose and why? What would you do?
I would switch places with President Scott just to see what it’s like to run the university. It would definitely be extremely intense but I would love to have all of that power for one day!
Â
Favorite quote? Saying? Song lyric? Any motto that you live by?
“Treat others the way you’d like to be treated.”
Â
If you could snap your finger and be anywhere in the world within seconds, where would you snap to? & Why?
This might seem pretty weird but I would love to snap my fingers and visit my relatives that have passed away. I just want to have another moment with them and know that they’re okay.
Â
Do you have any advice for the other people in your major? In particular the freshman who are just starting out?Â
I would tell the freshman to take advantage of all the ensembles and performance opportunities on campus.
Â
Three words that your best friend would use to describe you?Â
Loud, funny, and outgoing.
Â
Â
What is your favorite childhood memory/tradition?
Â
One of my favorite childhood memories would be when I was in 6th grade and got cast in my first ever musical! I was Bonnie in Anything Goes and it was the most amazing experience because it was the first time that I finally realized I wanted to perform for the rest of my life.
Â
Do you have any funny on campus stories or experiences that you’d like to share?
Â
The other day I went to see the Women’s Basketball game and I was picked to throw the half-court shot with a chance to win $10,000. Let’s just say, I don’t get embarrassed but that day I did!
Â
Three fun facts about yourself that people may not know already.
I’m a black belt in karate.
I had ACL reconstructive surgery.
I beat boxed for Lil Mama when I was 16 years old.
