Galentine’s Day is Around the Corner

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UC Berkeley chapter.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the holiday coined by Parks and Recreation’s Leslie Knope, Galentine’s Day falls on February 13th. Right before Valentine’s Day, it’s a chance to celebrate all your female friendships for the good memories they’ve given you. So without further ado, here are our tips for how to best spend your Galentine’s Day!

1. Have a group dinner date

No matter what your plans are for Valentine’s Day, your female friends have been with you through it all, and you all deserve a treat.

2. Binge on Netflix

A night in also works great! Celebrate friendship with some great movies and popcorn.

3. Do A Fun Activity

Go on a group hike, shopping trip, ice-skating, or anything else that strikes your fancy and lets you spend time with your closest friends.
